Welcome to Louise McCannon Massage

How We Can Help You

We all get aches and pains and occasionally find daily tasks and responsibilities that little bit harder to carry out with ease and comfort. This can be due to many reasons, some of them physical, some of them because of being mentally overloaded and in need of a break and often it is a combination of both.

Chronic and persistent pain becomes overwhelming and can impact on our abilities to get things done and interact with our colleagues, friends and family.

The body is a complex piece of evolution and we all respond uniquely to how it is used and the mechanics we put it through on a daily basis.

Where do we come in?

To work out the best course of practice for you we will spend time on a consultation to discover what your aims and outcomes are from your treatment, whether it be a facial Reflexology treatment, deep tissue massage or a full body Aromatherapy massage. Our aim is for you to leave our treatment rooms feeling uplifted and in a better place to live an active, healthy and happy life.

Just had the most amazing 60 mins with Louise. The back, neck and shoulder massage with an Indian head massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. So relaxing and in a very calm relaxed atmosphere in her cottage. Can highly recommend and can’t wait to go back again.

About Louise McCannon

A woman giving a deep tissue massage

Working as a massage and holistic health therapist for 25 years, I’ve always had a fascination with anatomy and physiology and knew that I wanted to eventually work with people in a holistic way treating the mind, body and psyche as one.

My journey with well-being therapies started with a course on Reflexology. I saw so many friends and clients feel positive health and well-being benefits from the treatment that I was well and truly under the holistic and well-being spell. From here I continued with my training in Aromatherapy Level 3 Massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage and Indian head massage.

Over the years I have continued with my development and now practice in a variety of massage and Holistic health disciplines.

I have a passion for working with people and helping them to achieve better health and find ways in which they can manage and improve chronic pain.

I wanted to further my  clinical massage knowledge and gain the highest level of qualification available in the field of body-work. After some research I came across “The Soft Tissue School Of Therapy” in Exmouth and I am now studying under the fabulous Anna Maria Mazzeri to gain my Level 5 qualification in clinical evidence-based massage.

So my journey continues…
